I created J Gadd Associates in March 2014, combining a unique blend of leadership and performance coaching with a proven employee engagement approach, underpinned through independent review. We deliver effective tailor made solutions, which improves performance of individuals and organisations. I was delighted to welcome Philippa Meaden as my first Associate in November 2014.
Early 2015 saw us being joined by Libby Unsworth and Kathie Robb as Engagement Associates and later in the year Garry Davis came on board.

We are a non-political organisation and do not make donations to political parties or single partisan causes. However, we do believe in playing a full and responsible part within the community. For us, this is more than simply a CRS box tick, which is why we describe our contribution as RCS; ‘Real Community Service’. We provide one day a month, pro-bono support to the charities we care about.

Following a successful 15 year career working for the largest co owned retailer, the John Lewis Partnership, Philippa set up her Engagement Specialist consultancy early 2014 and following collaboration has recently become Associate Director of JGadd Associates.

Garry has more than 25 years’ experience of successfully inspiring others to work collaboratively and achieve more, including a career with the John Lewis Partnership that encompassed leading roles in HR, coaching, independent critical review and employee engagement.
For over 30 years, Libby has held leadership roles in Britain’s foremost co-owned business, The John Lewis Partnership. Her most recent experience has been working at leadership level, supporting employee engagement, creating effective communication channels and providing critical feedback to senior leaders.
Kathie has enjoyed a successful 20 year career in generalist HR Management as a Personnel Manager with the largest co-owned retailer, John Lewis. In 2014 she spent a year working with the Partnership’s independent critical function, focusing particularly on delivering an enhanced level of democratic engagement within the logistics division.
To ensure the very best coaching support, we seek out coaches who share our beliefs and passion for professional development and offer proven and varied commercial or operational experience. All our Associate Coaches run their own businesses in addition to their coaching offer. They are affiliated to, and abide by the strict standards of a recognised coaching body and submit to continual professional development.
Charlie has been an independent consultant in teamworking and leadership for five years. Before that he was an officer in the Royal Navy with a varied career that went from bomb disposal to Defence Attaché via ship command in both peace and war.
Corrine has over 25 years’ experience of working in Business Change roles across a range of industry sectors including Local Government, Healthcare, Telecommunications and Financial services. In recent years she has focused on creating Business Analysis practices within large Change teams and her most recent role was Head of Business Analysis at Virgin Media.
Jeanette is a highly experienced and qualified Occupational Health Nurse Specialist Practitioner, resilience and stress trainer, a certified executive coach, coach supervisor and NLP master practitioner.
Jeanette is a highly experienced International leadership development facilitator and Executive Coach, she have worked in global and blue chip companies such as Guinness Ireland, Diageo and the UK based retailer the John Lewis Partnership.
