Jeanette has a wide and varied experience of leadership development roles having worked for Diageo, Guinness Ireland Group, John Lewis, Marks and Spencer and various Irish retailers. She now runs her own learning and development consultancy.
Her current project portfolio includes coaching skills training, psychometrics, team and leadership development for public and private sector clients.
Experience
Performance Management Wholesaling subsidiary of Diageo PLC – The design and development of a new performance management system. Provided a consultancy service to managers to ensure the system was implemented effectively, dealing with behavioural goal-setting, poor performance issues and performance rating. Training of managers and employees in use of performance management system.
Leadership development Manufacturing – training of managers up to senior level in coaching skills programme and training of senior HR Business Partners in train-the-trainer coaching programme. Retailing – designed and delivered management skills training for graduate trainees. Hotels – designed and delivered a supervisor development programme.
Sales Capability Wholesaling – sourced and implemented a sales capability programme for the commercial sales teams including regional managers and sales representatives. Introduced succession planning and performance management as part of the overall programme.
Change Manufacturing – sourced and implemented an organisational change programme for over 400 employees and managers. Went on to learn the programme in order to train managers and train the trainers. Financial Services – trained HR Business Partners in mergers and acquisitions change programme in preparation for largest financial services global acquisition.
Coaching Brewing and manufacturing – supported the development of senior management teams by one-to-one coaching, coaching skills training and psychometrics team events. Brewing and manufacturing – Trained European wide HR Directors and HR Business Partners in High Performance Coaching skills programme. Wholesaling – supported the development of senior managers by one-to-one coaching to increase their management effectiveness
HR Management Has senior HR Management experience in retail, hotels, wholesaling, brewing and manufacturing. Is a HR consultant to a number of schools and charities.
Communication Wholesaling – introduce new communications strategy of monthly team briefings and quarterly company wide newsletter. Trained senior managers in communication strategy and effective team briefings.
